As the founder of The Lotus Center, Sheldon brings a rare ability to see what others miss—surfacing underlying tensions, guiding leaders through complexity, and designing frameworks that turn challenge into transformation. His work is rooted in restorative leadership, strategic facilitation, and institutional design.

In addition to advising organizations, Sheldon works directly with individuals and teams as a confidential mediator and conflict advisor, facilitating 1:1 and group conversations that require trust, discretion, and precision. He is known for helping people move through high-stakes interpersonal conflict with clarity, accountability, and forward momentum.

At a major public college, Sheldon built and leads enterprise-wide efforts focused on organizational culture, conflict resolution, and leadership development—advising senior leadership while working directly with employees across all levels. His influence spans executive strategy, crisis navigation, and long-term culture transformation.

A graduate of Harvard University, where he earned a master’s degree in Education Policy and Management, Sheldon also holds a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and has advanced training in mediation and restorative justice.
